Next-Generation Sequencing: from Identification to Genomic Surveillance
Bioinformatics is the bridge between biology and insight. In this workshop we will explore how this connection is made in the field of Public Health, starting from the work of the Infectious Disease Department of the Portuguese National Health Institute (INSA). We will examine its applications for routine genomic surveillance and core workflows, and introduce and explore INSaFLU-TELEVIR, a user-friendly “start-to-end” bioinformatics framework for genomic surveillance and metagenomics.
