Josué Carvalho is the Business and Strategic Relations Officer of ALS Life Sciences Portugal. He works in the interface between the R&D department and the market, being responsible for identifying opportunities for business development in the molecular diagnostics fields. Josué obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Beira Interior (Covilhã, Portugal) in 2020, where he developed nucleic acid-based therapeutics for cervical cancer and HPV infection, having authored and co-authored 27 research papers. Currently, at ALS, he is involved in the development stages of new products for molecular diagnostics being responsible for finding opportunities for business development. Josué enjoys bridging the research and business facets with a strong commitment to the client’s satisfaction and loves to communicate science and product development.
